Lacquer, Sanding Sealer, White

A solvent based, nitrocellulose type, pigmented coating designed as a sandable sealer for interior wood surfaces under pigmented lacquer coatings. The dry-to-sand time is not greater than 30 minutes at 23 C., with a 1.5 mil dry film thickness. Sealer must be easily sanded, with no gumming of the paper. This sealer is to produce a surface suitable for quality lacquer finishing. Uses include both new and repainting (i.e. previously lacquered) applications in residential, commercial and light industrial buildings. Application will be primarily airless, HVLP, and conventional spray equipment, but small touch ups in repainting may require use of a brush.
