Latex, Exterior, High Build
|

A white, or colored, water based, high solids, emulsion-type, coating for new, or previously painted, exterior masonry, block, and concrete surfaces. Primary uses are on substrates such as concrete (poured-in-place or tilt-up) surfaces not prone to dynamic cracking (where an elastomer would be more suitable). High solids content improves filling, uniformity, and film build over concrete block surfaces.

[Gloss must be a maximum 20 units @ 60°. Other evaluated characteristics include consistency/viscosity, dry time, fineness of grind, volume solids — minimum 50%, abrasion and mildew resistance, resistance to wind driven rain, hiding power by contrast ratio method, reflectance, filling properties and accelerated weathering.
