This standard is for a white, near-white or colored interior latex based paint of a ‘velvet-like’ sheen, produced by the blending and reprocessing of post consumer interior latex paint, secondary industrial materials, virgin latex paint and/or virgin raw materials. For purposes of this standard, reprocessed interior latex paint must contain a minimum of 50% by volume post-consumer paint and a maximum of 50% by volume of secondary industrial materials or virgin materials.

[Gloss level must be a maximum of 10 units @ 60° and sheen 10 to 35 units @ 85°. Other evaluated characteristics include consistency/viscosity, dry time, fineness of grind, hiding power by contrast ratio method, reflectance, alkali resistance, flexibility, scrubbability, and sealing properties.
