This standard is for a near-white or colored interior latex based paint of a ‘velvet-like’ sheen, produced by the collection and consolidation of post consumer interior latex paint. For purposes of this standard, consolidated post consumer interior latex paint must contain a minimum of 95% post consumer paint, with a maximum of 5% by volume secondary industrial materials, or virgin materials.

[Gloss level must be a maximum of 10 units @ 60° and sheen 10 to 35 units @ 85°. Other evaluated characteristics include consistency/viscosity, dry time, fineness of grind, hiding power by contrast ratio method, reflectance, alkali resistance, flexibility, scrubbability, and sealing properties.
