Primer, Oil for Exterior Wood
|

A solvent based oil or oil/alkyd type primer for exterior wood siding and trim that is to be top coated with either an alkyd or latex finish system. Paint systems using this primer will be specified for new work in residential, commercial and light industrial applications. This primer is used on woods prone to extractive bleeding, such as cedar and redwood, and must have bleeding resistance when applied to dry (less than 15% moisture content) wood substrates. Must be mildew resistant. Application methods will include using brushes, rollers, and airless and conventional spray equipment.
